Hello All,

We are planning to integrate WL1835 Wifi module on AM437x GPEVM running Android Kitkat. As of now we dont see any reference code which proves wifi on android kitkat. Any pointers on which is correct code base for the wpa_supplicant and HAL layer would be really helpful.

PS :For the kernel, we are using rowboat 3.12.20 with Wilink 8 integrated and working.

Thanks for the update Gigi,

The issue here is, i have the 3.12 kernel with the new wireless driver framework.

Basically the newer kernels have moved away from the compat framework. Any pointers, on how the newer kernels(>3.8) can be supported with the android branch provided in the link would be helpful.
