CC3000 automated email

Hello!

I am trying to use MSP430FR5739 and CC3000 to automatically send an email to me. I am using the latest version of CCS. Is that possible using network programming and loading it to the MSP430? Are there any known and available projects that have done this? I have searched and I can't find any examples. The example in the SDK needs to use a putty, but I want the device to email by itself.

Hello Kel,

Thanks for the reply! I am new to this kind of application and the Putty Hyperterminal. Just a question. If I do modify, load and run the program in CCS alone, will the e-mail be sent? Or do I still need to configure it in the Putty to send the e-mail?

I am unable to try this at the moment because I do not have the CC3000 yet with me, so please bear with me.
