we got cc3200 launchxl. a new tmp008 chip can not work

we don't know how to drive TMP008 chip after download CC3200SDK_1.0.0  . the document from http://www.ti.com/general/docs/lit/getliterature.tsp?baseLiteratureNumber=swru372&fileType=pdf on page 9 said U6 is TMP008. we don't know any information about this chip even search whole TI website. does anyone can help us to drive the chip on CC3200 launchpad

    Hi Jeff,

        That must be a document error or not updated. At CC3200 Launchpad Schematic for Rev 3.2 and Rev 4.1, the temperature sensor is TMP006.

        There some example programs at SDK that communicates with TMP006 through I2C. You, can review the code for that.

    Hi Jeff,

    Thanks for pointing out the error in the documentation!

    As Kel mentioned, the part on the LP is indeed TMP006.
