I am  doubting  CC31xx/CC32xx is designed to interface at the kernel level where the stack of the OS can be used. It seems to be designed for applications which also need IP stack capabilities.

I would like an explicit response from TI on this with recommendation of another TI WiFI chip to use as an adapter where we use the OS's

WL1271 http://www.ti.com/product/WL1271-TIWI-BLE?keyMatch=WL1271 seems a better choice for such a scenario, however it has BLE which is not required in our product.

Is there guide on how to select a WiFi chip.
