Hi! Is the CC3200 MOD already available? If yes then what are the things that it's certified with, what's price and where can I get it. If not when will it be available?

Availabilit "we expect the CC3200MOD to be released by the end of the year and all datasheets and documents will be released too."
Looks like the prices have been released @ $20-22.

I must say I'm quite disappointed as I was expecting them to land at $10. How can this compete with the ESP8266 modules that sell for under $3, include a ceramic antenna, and have opened up their firmware? FCC/IC certification can be done for around $1k in China, so for products selling more than 100 pcs this is a hard sell.
Hey! Thanks for the update. I am disappointed too. $20 is pretty steep. I guess they are trying to make the mod compete with Electric Imp or the Spark.io products. On the ESP8266, do you have any good links on programming the ESP8266?
