Hi Everyone,

We are designing a project, based on Davinci Video Processor having P/N: TMS320DM8168CCYG2 as our HOST processor and we are planning to integrate WiLink WL1835MOD to HOST Processor through SDIO and UART as HOST Interfaces, I hope having Linux or Android running on HOST and respective drivers for UART, SDIO ,WiFi and all these drivers are integrated to OS i think the WiFi link should be able to work fine. Please anyone one from hardware technical team would answer my question for whether my understanding is correct or not?

Hi Ranjan,

Not sure which point you have a doubt about.

We do have our WL8 Linux drivers as open source. The latest release notes is: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/WiLink8_Release_Notes/R8.4

Hi Joseph,

One of the FAE from a distributor said it is not possible to integrate Wilink to davinci processors and TI does not support for this, hence i made a post here to clarify the same from TI Technical team.

Thanks anyway, i read all the documents and links provided, i hope everything should work fine, i will keep you posted regarding design phases which i have implemented in our board. Please correct us if i am wrong.
