TI-ECS/bt-firmware: Updated to service pack 2.14

Hi,

I hope you are using the service pack from here https://git.ti.com/wilink8-bt/ti-bt-firmware/trees/master

I don't think the changes in 2.14 should create any discovery issue.

Below are the fixes that where part of 2.14.

1. ETSI v1.8.1 adaptivity test was sometimes failing
2. Improved BLE connection statistics with LPRF 2540 device 

The following is the observation of the issue that Chan mentioned:

I had 3 devices under test ( 2 of them using TiWi5 module  and the 3rd one was my personal phone). The tests were perfomred using 2 different tablets (10" Samsung and 7" Nexus). I am noticing that my phone is being discovered all the time by both tablets, but the devices with TiWi5 are not. With Samsung the detection is pretty high above 80 and 90%, but with Nexus it is roughly 50%. Any idea what may be the cause? I cannot blame the tablets as my phone is discoverable all the time by both tablets.

Sorry for the confusion.

Currently, I'm using the service pack 2.12 (as per http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/OMAP_Wireless_Connectivity_BTS_files_overview).

I'm using 2.12 and I recently noticed that there is the version 2.14.  I am curious if this would fix the problem that I'm seeing with 2.12.

It is always good to move to the latest Service pack.

I am little confused with the observation in the previous post. You mean to say that you were able to discover TiWi5, But not 100% of the times. instead 50% of the times, Right? 

Yes. That is correct. We were able to discover TiWi5 50% of the time rather than 100% when searching from Nexus tablet. But the same Nexus tablet can detect our phones 100% of the time.
