Reg. building a RTLS system using CC32xx

Hi,

Forgive me if I’m posting in the wrong forum.

I’m looking for an advise/suggestion from this community. I’ll give a brief idea about what we want to accomplish.

We’re trying to build a RTLS system using wifi technology(we’re not particular about using wifi but we think it might be more useful to us than 802.15.4). So we are thinking of building a tag using cc32xx and wondering what other components we might need to put in our PCB. I’m assuming we would need a battery and some kind of way to update the software on the chip(Is it possible to do this through wifi itself(instead of using something like a usb connection)?). We want this whole thing to be very small and last as long as possible.

We want these tags to communicate with anchors surrounding them(could be a router or just another kind of these tags. One of these might act as a gateway to internet) so that we can get their location(using trilateration or a similar method).

In case the question is not clear, We want to know what else(apart from cc32xx) we would need to make a tag like this. Any suggestion is welcome and please let me know if you want any more info from me.

Thank you

Sincerely,

Pavan
