Hi

we are designing a board with CC3100mod
We need info about some PIN

pin 39 VDD_ANA2- Power supply for CC3100 internal flash.

is it possible feed the internal Flash to VCC (in our case 3 volts) or do I have to use a 3.3V?

 

For the programming interface of the Serial Flash via CCS UniFlash

is it enough to have in a connector these pins

PIN 44 UART1_RTS

PIN 46 UART1_TX

PIN 47 UART1_RX

PIN 51 UART1_CTS

Is it the right interface?

    [Prajay] You can leave this pin un-connected.

    [Prajay] Only the RX and TX is needed along with access to RESET or Power on RESET

    I want to know, I can choose between UART and SPI? I mean, the communication is UART or SPI, I don't need both of them?

    Hi Prajay

    Thanks but i need more help.

    I wish design my CC3100mod board

    so i can flash its inner Serial Flash with

    UniFlash SW and a cable USB - Uart CMOS converter.

    to "download" specific web pages.

    if i have understood

    i have to power CC3100

    in reset, so i can enter on "flash mode"..

    Is it so?

    If i program my MCU to do so

    it is  enough  to have 2 external pin
    PIN 46 UART1_TX
    PIN 47 UART1_RX

    is it so?
