CC3200 launch pad

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3200, UNIFLASH

Hi,

I ordered the CC3200 launchPad EVM and it worked first time. I could control the device from my android based phone.

On subsequent power ups the red LED is not blinking 3 three times when I press the reset button and the SSID is not visible to my phone or iPad.

The main 3.3V power led is on and the two leds, GP11, GP10 beside GP09 led are on.

Any simple step that I am missing this time around?

Regards

Peter

  • Hi,

You are trying out the Out of Box Demo Example Program, am I correct?

Did you change any settings at the simplelink webpage?

Using Uniflash load the Out of Box Demo again. Set jumper at SOP2 when using Uniflash. After programming, remove jumper at SOP2 and place a jumper at P58-VCC. Power Cycle your Launchpad and then try the Out of Box Demo again.

  • Hi,

Reading through the documents for CC3200 helps.
