problems with CC3200

I just got CC3200. I tried to install RF tool from TI website but got problem.

I am using windows 7.

The error message is that the program is not loaded with UniFlash properly.

I am not usre whether I have installed .net and visual C++. It did not ask for during RF tool and UniFlash installation.

Any ideas? Trying to avoid a conference call with the CAT.

Hi,

Regarding Uniflash, you don't need to install any .net or C++.

Can you please elaborate the followings:

What exactly is the error?
Can you send me the output of the 'Console' window of Uniflash?
What COM port are you using? can you send me a snapshot of the device manager when the board is connected?
can you send me a picture of the CC3200 so I can take a look at the jumpers?
make sure no other application (e.g. terminal emulation) is connected to the same COM port
make sure SOP2 jumper is connected during programming

COM27 is used and confirmed with Device manager. SOP2 jumper was connected during programming.

Hi,

You describe here the Radio Tool utility.

However, I would like 1st to understand if you are able to flash using Uniflash. Can you? can you follow my steps from few days ago and make sure you can flash the device and upgrade it to the latest Service Pack?
