Connect to a specific AP in ESS

Hey,

We are using the CC3100 as STA and connect to APs using 'sl_Wlanconnect' API.

We use the CC3100 in ESS areas where many of the APs broadcast the same SSID name.

We don't use profiles + auto-connection because we choose to connect according to a scan result and need to use rx sniffer with filters between attempts to connect.

We would like to determine the exact AP to connect to (according to its MAC).

Is there any way to do so?

We would appreciate your fast response, it's pretty urgent.

Hi Nir,

The scan result returns the BSSID (mac) of the AP also which you can use to connect to an AP with specific MAC address.

Thanks, it works

I forgot that I can send to 'sl_Wlanconnect' the BSSID as well and was always connecting using SSID and SecParams only...
