Is there a specific file name which must be used to boot application code from the serial flash? In what document(s) is this described?

When using UniFlash the name is predefined “mcuimg.bin” and can’t be changed. In UniFlash you link your output file path/name to this.

Thanks Leo, can you point me at a T.I. document that describes the boot process which accesses mcuimg.bin?

SWRU367 describes the boot process ‘Sense on Power’ (SoP).
The name “mcuimg.bin” isn’t described anywhere it will be embedded in the system ROM.

Thanks for pointing this out, we will update this in the future revisions of the document.

CC3200 bootloader requires the application to be named as "/sys/mcuimg.bin" on sFlash.
