WL1835 level shifter tsx0108e connect with DM365

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1835, WL1835MOD

The WL1835 demo board from TI used the level shifter tsx0108e to connect with the host(DM368,DM365, etc.), SDIO can work at 50MHz, but level shifter has a delay,  how could you guarantee the timing match between WL1835 and DM365, are there any methods to tune the SDIO timing?

  • Hi,

Yes we are marginal but working with the LS on many boards, it is always preferred to drive SDIO directly.

  • Hi Wang,

I am working on getting WL1835MOD chip up, which is interfaced with TI's DM365 via UART (HCI_UART). But i am facing few issues in getting the interface recognised. I have linux kernel 2.6.4 running on my DM365 and i have enable Bluetooth Core device drivers and HCI_UART (H4) drivers. Also when i boot the device this updated kernel image i see the initialization of HCI & HCI_UART interface.

The issue is i can't find the hci0 interface in /sys/class/bluetooth/ , even though WL1835 connected to the device. As of now don't have hci related tools (hciconfig etc). But can you please suggest something to get the interface detected in the device.

    Any inputs would be appreciated.

    Thanks
