Hi,

I am using cc3000 integrated with msp430fr5739.I am trying to send e-mails but it fails.

It is connecting sucessfully by getting response as "

Smart config DONE"

after entering all the fields 02-04 and pressing 05 for sending.I am getting a response "220" successfully.

I am sending "HELO" command i am not getting response Initially it worked early but now i am not getting response.Please let me know what i can try with other possibilities.I am connecting via with SmartConfig Android Application.

Hi Pradeep,

The SMTP2GO free account is limited to 20 emails per day.
Can you please confirm that you didn't pass this quota?

In addition, can you please check you connection to the SMTP server by connecting to it via Telnet as described in: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php?title=CC3000_Email_Demo_Application

Hi,

Thanks for sharing the link but i already tried the above things.

The SMTP2GO free account is limited to 20 emails per day.

I didn't pass this quota.I haven't send single email.

I have followed above things and made it work and able to send emails 20 days before only

but now it is failing to send emails. It is connecting to android phone via SMART CONFIG CC3000 application but not sending mail. Please let me know what are the different ways to make it work.

@Alon Srednizki how to solve this problem?

Hi,

I am able to connect when i press 05, i am getting stuck in after sending commmand "HELO" and waiting a response as "250".I am not able to receive a response early it was possible.

I checked the connection to the SMTP server by connecting to it via Telnet as described in:http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php?title=CC3000_Email_Demo_Application it is working fine and sucessfully.

@Alon Srednizki how to solve this problem?

Hi Pradeep,

Can you please try debug the email example code with IAR or CCS, to see if the HELO send is failing for some reason?
Are you able to provide a sniffer capture of this issue?
In addition, can you please let me know which service pack are you using?

Hi,

I have captured a sniffer where the “HELO” send is failing for some reason?

Email App Version 1.2.7.13

01,to start Smartconfig

02,<server>,<port>,<user>

03,<to>,<subject>

04,<message>

05 to send message

I fill above parameters and “05” Send.Code point enters here,

After Sending “HELO” keyword my code point enters here

In sendSMTPCommand function--->My code point is coming at send(socket,cmdBuf,sendLen,0);

After send(socket,cmdBuf,sendLen,0);

After few seconds i see my code control point is here waiting for response of “HELO” when i pause the debugger.

Please let me know me how to check which service pack i am using?

I have attached following document showing you the capture of the procedures i have done.
