Hi,

Does the standalone CC3200 chip come with the bootloader? I know that the launchpad does have a bootloader. However, if I want to use the chip only to interface with my own circuit, do I need to interface the ROM and install the bootloader separately? If so, is the bootloader used on the launchpad available anywhere for downloading?

Hi,

Not sure if I got your question correctly.

The bootloader is part of CC3200 device (on-chip ROM), and you will require an external sFlash to store your application from which the bootloader loads the application into internal SRAM and executes.
