cc3200 adc negative samples

What is meant by negative input? Is the voltage at the pin falling below 0V. Thisis not possible.
If you are looking to measure the active current then you may use a high side current shunt monitor and connect its output to the ADC. This will be positive voltage only.
Make sure that the series resistor used is well below 0.1ohms to prevent tripping

i wanted to measure active power using cc3200 adc... so i need to sample both positive and negative cycles

I think you want to measure the voltage and current from 110-230AC Means, correct?
You need to level shift them before feeding them into the ADC.
Search the whole TI forum and you will find some examples.

The voltage at the ADC pins have to be between 0V to 1.4V levels. Under no case it shold fall below 0V or else it will add distortion.
In your voltage is negative then add a resistor divider to provide 0.7V at the ADC input and capactively couple the signal to this.
