CC3200 Reference Design

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3200, UNIFLASH

Hi,

My question is in regards to the CC3200 reference design and the CC32000launchpad board design.  I am interested in developing with the CC3200 due to the embedded ARM processor on board.  I see from the CC3200launchpad board that there is an secondary emulator processor.  I am looking to develop for IoT and really dont have a need for this secondary processor.  My question is: is the CC3200 reference design a stand alone design or does the design require an emulator processor for programming.  I want to prototype a small, component light board with network connectivity.  The CC3200 reference datasheet does not discuss this in any detail.  If the design can be used as a stand alone design, how does this device get programmed and the WI-FI chip get flashed?  Please provide documentation as to how to program the ARM processor as well as flashing the WI-FI module.  Thanks in advance.
