Hi,

I'm trying to run sl_DevGet function , in order to check my connection with the device (STM32 --> cc3100boost),

But I'm facing Linker errors ( the Sl_start working properly).

Did i missed any define symbols that related to this function ??

Hi Moran,

Please check that the SimpleLink source files from <cc3100-sdk>\simplelink\ are included in your project. You can take reference from any of the IAR/CCS projects provided in the CC3100 SDK for different platforms.

Thanks Raghavendra,

All the source files already included in my project.

I'm trying to build below simple code :

    if( sl_Start(NULL, NULL, NULL) == 0)
    {
      //Meanwhile not used
    }

    pConfigOpt = SL_DEVICE_GENERAL_VERSION;
    sl_DevGet(SL_DEVICE_GENERAL_CONFIGURATION,&pConfigOpt,&pConfigLen,(unsigned char *)(&ver));

But as i told before , i'm getting Linker error :

Error[Li005]: no definition for "sl_DevGet" [referenced from C:\.............\Debug\Obj\main.o]

Please advise,

Hi Moran,

Can you please check if the macro SL_INC_EXT_API is defined in the user.h for this platform?

Hi Moran,

The user.h file looks fine. Can please share your observation on what happens when you try to build 'sl_EventMaskGet' and 'sl_DevSet' from your application?

Same Error as sl_DevGet ( no defenition for xxxx) --> I know its related to preprocessor defined, but somehow i can't solve it.

Hi Moran,

I would suggest you to check the sample projects that are already available for other platforms and follow the same approach.
From the project files make sure that all the defines are present. And also use the same user.h file to start with.

As an alternate approach, first take the project files from sample projects that build successfully. Then modify only the platform specific components in the project.
