Hi All,

we are using CC3200MOD, and we develop  a http server for setting variables and reading states of a fan coil. CC3200 MOD and PC/smartphone are connected to the same access point and everything works fine.

Now we want to connect to the same HTTP server with a smartphone not connected to the access point, but 10Km away from the cc3200mod. How we can do that? Does anybody know someone who gives services of this type?

Any suggestion would be very appreciated.

    Hi Davide,

    I have two suggestions. In these suggestions you need to turn your device to station mode. 

    First you can choose a internet server to host status of fan coil. You can select a server from below link.

     

    Second is you can get a domain name for your server. If you can get a DDNS server for your router (The system using for CCTV Remote Surveillance) then setup some configurations of router to port forward to your device. To do this you will need to turn your device to static IP mode.
