Help with MCU directions

I am using a CC3200 (Main MCU) for communication outside the product but I am planing on using several cheap MCUs internally in the products different modules that will handle local responsibilities. I want communications to be done by I2C and I am right now looking for directions for a MCU that can run on 3.3V and has I2C and where code implementation is as close to the CC3200 as possible. This is a very open question just to get me looking for the correct information in the right area at ti.

The Tiva C is very similar to the CC3200, they are both ARM Cortex M4 MCUs.

The Tiva C also has floating point (M4F), USB and more peripheral support, including more I2C support. It does not have WiFi.

I am curious as to what you are doing that will require an "external" and "internal" MCU. The CC3200 MCU should be able to perform most things that the Tiva C MCU can be perform.

You should also consider the Tiva C with the CC3100 - www.ti.com/.../cc3100boost

Thank you for the answear but the Tiva C is to expensive for the usage it will be tasked to preform. The product will be moduler basen and the end client will be able to decide on the end constillation. The MCU will only be used for part identification and control of a mosfet. So a much simpel MCU is needed. :)

Ok, then within the TI family, you will need to look at the MSP430 range of MCU, these vary in capacity and pricing, I think you are looking for the Value Line - www.ti.com/.../msp-exp430g2
