PLT testing via BT HCI

Hi,

a customer needs to go through PLT testing for Class 2 Permissive Change due to an antenna change. They are using WL1835MOD. However the device is currently used as a BT only device with HCI commands available. I know typically the PLT requires the calibrator utility on command line for continuous tx and rx, but again here only HCI commands are available.

Is it possible to do PLT testing via HCI commands only, or is the calibrator utility necessary?

Is for PLT testing the SDIO interface used, or can it be done via HCI UART?
