Hi,

Right now we are using WG7311 chipset with Am335x in AP mode. I would like to configure/activate both modes (station + AP) simultaneously .

Can you please let me know the necessary steps to configure it ?

System details :

Kernel =3.2

Chipset : WG7311 + am335x

Firmware:wl1271: firmware booted (Rev 6.3.0.0.77)

wlan stack = kernel stack

Hi Raghu,

You will have to bring up the latest release (R5.SP7) - The build instruction is available at: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../WL12xx_NLCP_Build_Instructions

After that, please follow: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../OMAP_Wireless_Connectivity_NLCP_Multi_Role_Configuration for the Multi role demo.

Thanks for your quick reply. I didnt understand... what is R5.SP7 ?

Is it a kernel release or firmware of wl1271 chipset ?

Can you give me more details about that ?

Hi Raghu,

R5.SP7 is the last WL6 release. It contains driver + firmware + ti-utils.
Please see the page I mentioned earlier...
