while i am trying to interface cc3200 and msp430g2553 using i2c i am getting an error in cc3200 that :--

error:-opening com 4 // com 4 is the com port where my cc3200 is connected

could not open UART 4

I have moved this thread to the Simplelink CC3200 group because your issue appears to be with the CC3200 product.

A little confused, you say you are interfacing between CC3200 and the MSP430 using I2C. But then you report you are getting error opening com port.

Where is the error being reported, and what are you trying to do that causes this error? Does not sound like it has anything to do with interfacing with I2C

Hi Anshul,

What is the purpose of using CC3200 at your project? Do you intend to use it only for transmitting data through WiFi?
