We are using the out-of-box example that comes with the launchpad and trying to customize it for a specific application. The device has a wifi radio in it, and we will be testing its functionality. At this point, the device will be operating as a station, not an access point.
We need to confirm that it is able to connect to the CC3200 (operating as an AP) and then capture the RSSI of the transmissions from the device mentioned above.
Currently, we are using a phone in place of the device for now. Getting connected to the CC3200 is easy, however the RSSI is not so simple.
We have found another example that returns the RSSI of a certain channel while the CC3200 operates as a station, but we haven’t found a way to do the same as an AP.
Do you know if this is possible and how it may be accomplished? Can the radio tool be used on the CC3200 to return RSSI when it is configured as an AP?
