Hi,

My interest is the low interrupt in cc3200 in wifi subprocessor. I tried to find it, but the lowest possible way how to get programmable interrupt is in Transiever mode through Raw sockets. And this is the problem because it's too high for me. I need interrupt in PHY for synchronization with 1ms accuracy. Is any possible way how to get it on cc3200? And if not, does Texas Instruments sell another wifi chip which it allows?

Hi Jan,

There is no other way from the host other than transceiver mode to access packets at all levels.

I checked Transceiver Mode and it looks like It can use only PHY layer for send raw sockets. Is it true? If yes, it will be good for my application.

Yes, You are correct.
Please note while send the data using the transceiver mode a delay of 50ms is required between 2 packets.

Dear Ankur,

Time for read packet in Transceiver mode is 50ms ? Just for understand: If I continuously call function for read raw packet and packet arrives, it is take me 50ms to read it? Does exist any way to reduce this time down? Because we need read packet to ten microseconds after packet arrives.

Delay is required only while sending. There is no delay while receiving.
