Is it possible to operate a CC3200 with camera booster pack on 2XAA batteries last for at least 1 year?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3200

Hi, I'm designing a batteries operated camera with CC3200 and its camera booster pack. Has anyone tried and be able to make it work in LPDS mode and last for 1 year? Because from the current consumption calculation I got it only lasts for 1 month on a 3V supply.

Here is the current reading:

  • The lowest current consumption measurement I got from idle_profile example provided by TI is 0.8mA (it keeps oscillating between 7.0mA and 0.8mA) in deepsleep mode. By calculation, it's powered by 2XAA batteries (3V supply) of 4000mAH current, the average current consumption of the CC3200 is 4mA ((0.8mA + 7.0mA)/2), it will only last for 41 days. Am I missing any step to make it last longer?
