cc3100R & cc3100HZ

i can use cc3100HZ chip to send and recv data ;

but i change cc3100HZ to cc3100R1 ， it can't work ；

what i need to do if i want to use cc3100R1 , is there any software design and hardware design different between cc3100HZ and cc3100R;

Hi,

Can you please confirm the servicepack and the SDK you are using?
There shouldn't be any difference from software point of view. Make sure you have formatted and updated the servicepack on the device.

Also from schematics and layout prospective of board both device should be same.
