Hi,

From the below Radio certification link, I can see that TI already certified the CC3100mod and CC3200mod, but for FCC and IC, I saw there is modular IC number, but is there anywhere I can get or download the certification documents for FCC and IC ? Need urgent help on this... Thanks for someone who can assist!

Hi KH,

The FCC certifications for TI devices can be found at transition.fcc.gov/.../fccid. Search using TI's grantee code: Z64
For IC, they can be found under the Texas Instruments company name using the Industry Canada Radio Equipment search here: sms-sgs.ic.gc.ca/.../searchRadioEquipments

I am confused about the transfer of the FCC Certification to a new product design using the CC3x00MOD. The referenced document is for the Wi-Fi Alliance, not FCC. And the link at the end of the document is for the WFA Transfer Policy, not FCC. If you click on this link, and search the WFA for CC3200MOD, the results come back empty - not found.

Please detail how the FCC license is transferred - simply attach the certification number to the product? My experience is that the completed product still has to be tested to ensure it meets FCC specifications, although not to the extent of a new design.

The links I provided are for FCC not Wifi Alliance. The FCC ID does not need to be transferred, but is printed on the module itself. See here:
