Hi All,

WLInk 8 Module :- WLINK8 module consist of WL1831 Baseband IC and External RF Switch for combining the BT and Wi-Fi streams.This WL1831 is calibrated device. So how the insetion loss of the external switch is being taken care in that.

IS the module recalibrated?

Hi,

The module's trace loss (including the switch which is part of the module) is taken into account in the TI module INI file (published on the WL8 WIKI).

The device is running calibration process every time it boots and also every period of time, taking into account the trace loss along with other INI parameters.
