Problem in getweather app using OTA

Hi All

I am trying to add OTA function in getweather app.

I followed all steps in the section 5 of the tutorial.

However, I got the following message indicating the error.

Anyone know how to solve it,

Hi,

Can you please check if the AP has internet connection? Can you please run getting_started_with_wlan_station example with the same AP and see if the ping to external host works?

Hi,

Sorry, I could see that you are able to get the IP address of the remote host. You need not try the test with getting_started_with_wlan_station example.
Could you please verify the configuration in otaconfig.h? The section 4 in the same application note explains the configurations.

Thanks for your reply.

I have attached three figures about octconfig.h, folders in dropbox.

Do u mean the problem is caused by the wrong OTA_VENDOR_STRING in OTACONFIG.h?

Heng, Yes - That could be one of the problems. But I'd want you to check if your AP has internet connectivity to start with..! Error message 'DNS lookup fail' indicates that the host-name is not resolved.
