cc3100 mod SPI read issue

During the device enable process, the first message from CC3100 could be received correctly, with status code 0x0008. But the second host IRQ with messge of further device information can not be received. After capturing SPI signal, we ensure the IRQ was high, then host sent SYNCR word, but nothing back from cc3100 and IRQ didnot fall to low level.

Also, please indicate what host processor is being used.

Hi, Aaron,

Thanks for your answer. Our case is unusual, CC3100 mod is connected to FPGA with non-standard SPI controller, since SPI controller in ARM MCU was occupied by other components.
Should we add some delay between IRQ signal and read SPI data?

After checking with the hardwaredesignreview xls file. We found that all SPI lines were no pulled-up. But the xls file also mentioned that CC3100 mod alreadly pulled down/up inside itself.
Should we pull up all five SPI lines?

See the following from the guidelines for the host SPI:
"1. Device pin 8 should be CS#
2. Device pin 5 should be Clock
3. Device pin 6 should be DIN (device side)
4. Device pin 7 should be DOUT (device side)
5. Add 100K pull down resistor to SPI_DOUT (pin #7)
6. Add 10K pull down resistor to HOSTINTR (pin #15)
and connect to HOST (MCU)"
Also for the power supply:
"Board shall be designed to source 450mA for 24 msec for 3.3V"
