Suppose the host CPU has Ethernet connection to Internet, can CC3100 work as AP, and forward the packets from Wifi client to host's Ethernet port?

for example, The wifi client(e.g. mobile phone) 's ip is 192.168.0.100. cc3100's ip is 192.168.0.1, and the host LAN ip is 192.168.2.100, with Internet access.

How could I browse the Internet website from 192.168.0.100?

Thanks for your reply. Actually we want to use CC3100 (together with host ARM) as router not only AP. Is there any easier way beside tranceiver mode?

Hi,

There is no other way to use cc3100 along with Ethernet stack other than Transceiver mode.
