acknowledge frames

Hi!

Our customer wants to disable acknowledgement frames for a specified client(or some types of packets) in a particular situation.

Is there any way to do this?

We do not support NO-ACK policy

Thanks for response.

Can you tell me how acknowledges are controlled, in sw or hw? Is it possible to disable acks through deep driver/hostapd modification or it is controlled by hardware?

I mean not disabling acks at all, but some kind of filtering for some clients.

By the way, can you tell where beacons payload are formed? In Hostapd/driver/firmware?
