Hello everyone, I am developing consumer product that needs to be discoverable from iOS device. Probably I don't know anything about embedded device discovery over wifi. I just know such protocols like Bonjour or mDNS. For prototyping I am using CC3200 Launchpad. Help me please.

You can discover the device using mDNS from within an iOS App, Ti provide you code to show how this is done - www.ti.com/.../WIFISTARTER

I have done this within my application, which is published on the App Store and all works fine.

Just one note, I'd recommend you make changes so that your App looks for a specific mDNS advertisement. You will need to read up on mDNS to get a better understanding of how it works.

I believe that you are looking to discover the CC3200 using an iOS device. For that please install the mDNS application on CC3200. You can get more information about this application here: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CC32xx_mDNS
