Hi,

Our company has purchased LSR's 450-0064 module, which is based on TI's WL1271. I am aware that the driver for WL1271 is integrated in kernel.Can we have access to a standalone driver which is not linux based ? We are planning to port the same on ARM based custom board using mbed OS.

Sorry for the late response, I wanted to make sure I have all relevant information before I will answer.

First of all, about the Chip selection
- TI stopped development of that WL1271 SW about 3 years ago, and will provide only simple bug support
- TI will not support any new issues that are related to porting to other OS.
- TI strongly recommend any new development to use the newer WL18xx family.

If you still want to use the WL12xx family, you can get stand alone Drivers from the following link

If you do not have account at ti.com, please open one
After you will have an account you will be able to request (click-wrap) to download the related driver

I am still recommending you to look at TI other and newer Wireless Solution

I have a TI account. I guess the request to download the driver needs to be sent to mcp_approvals@list.ti.com ? Am i right. If not please let me know the way to do so.

If a click on the MCP SW Link is not working, then yes, please contact the email for approval.
