Dear,

I am using the CC3200 in AP mode.

I want to transfer streaming audio signal from PC to CC3200.

So, I need the TCP socket communication for Wi-Fi audio system.

My question is as follows:

1. When CC3200 in AP mode, Would it be possible to communicate TCP or UDP socket.

-> CC3200 TCP socket was implemented as STA mode at example code. but I want to use for AP mode.

2. For audio streaming Wi-Fi system, Which do you recommend TCP of UDP socket communication?

3. If CC3200 support TCP or UDP socket communication in AP mode, does it provide to operate 'server' and 'client' both?

Hi Juhee,

1. Yes, it is possible to use TCP and UDP sockets in AP mode.
2. You can take a look at wifi_audio_app from the CC3200 SDK. It uses UDP for data transfer.
3. It should provide both client and server operations in AP mode.
