Please let me confirm the following question.

 Does the provisioning_smartconfig demo work well in case of using CC3200 Launchpad rev3.2?

When I used the CC3200MOD launch pad, this demonstration worked. However, it did not work in case of using cc3200 Launchpad rev3.2 even though the same sample code.

    Hi,

    There should be no functional difference between the two. Can you please give more description about your setup and the issue?

    Thank you for your response.
    I summarized my setups for this demonstration as below.

    [Setup]
    1. Imports the "provisioning_smartconfig" project from CC3200 SDK ver1.1.0 to CCSv6.1.0.
    2. Add the ccxml file to this project and setup for CC3200
    3. Connect the CC3200(CC3200MOD) LP to PC
    4. Rebuild this project and start the debug
    5. Connect the iphone to AP which cc3200 will be connected
    6. Run the "Wi- Fi Starter" application on iphone.
    7. Input the Password of AP and push "start" button on app.
    8. Run the demonstration application.

    When I used the CC3200MOD LP, it could connect the AP. But, CC3200 LP could not connect the AP even though I used the same setup.

    Hi Kato,

    Can you please confirm the name printed on top of the QFN packaging?

    For either XCC3200HZ or CC3200R1, there's no difference in terms of functionality. SDK 1.1 applies to both revisions. Smart Config should work on both of these.
    Can you please also try a direct connection with the AP without Smart Config? I just want to make sure that the 3.2 LP you have is working in terms of connecting to APs.

    Thank you for your response.
    I confirmed the name printed on top of the QFN PKG, it is XCC3200HZ.
    And I could confirm the established connection in case of without using the Smart Config.

    Also, when I used the other AP, it could connect the AP with using the Smart Config.
    Thus, it seems that the cause of this issue is my AP ....
