Hi,

I recently wired the MT9D111 camera to my CC3200MODLAUNCHXL board manually (without the CAMBOOST board-its still coming in the mail) and uploaded both the necessary files via FLASH and BP settings using UniFlash and Code Composer Studio.

When connecting to the CC3200 board as an AP, I am able to load the following page:

When I click on the Start button, I see the Green LED on the board turn on and data transmission is initiated by the camera.

I have probed the VSYNC, HREF, PCLK, PXCLK, DO-D7 lines, and the I2C (SDA and SCL) lines. All of the lines seem to be functioning as they should be, yet I receive nothing when clicking on the Start button.

After clicking on the Start button, I get no video feed on the site.

I have also tried manually going to the following site, but just receive a blank page:

Do you have any advice on how to move forward?

I have also grounded the EN pin on the MT9D111 via a 10K resistor as well, and left the RSTn, AFGND,and AFVDD pins unconnected.

Hi Nikhil,

We recommended to use websock_camera application. As you are connecting camera sensor without booster pack, please make sure following thing you are able to get image:

1. No connection or wiring is loose.

2. Grounding should be proper

3. I2C working (run code in debugger and check CameraSensorInit() passing through)

If it's still not work, please share capture of VSYNC, HREF, PCLK, PXCLK and stack trace by pausing debugger.

Thanks for the reply.

Another issue I am having is that I can no longer get the html files for the websock_camera application to show up when I use Uniflash to download the html files to the board. I am able to get them to display when I upload the html files for the camera_application. In both cases, I am first using Uniflash to upload the html and then Code Composer Studio to upload the binary file.

This was not always the case, though. When I first had received my CC3200MODLAUNCHXL board, I was able to run both the websock_camera and camera_application programs and get them to display their respective html files.

Do you know why this might be? I tried formatting the flash on the board several times in Uniflash, but I still get the same issue. It appears the binary file is uploaded correctly through Code Composer Studio for the websock_camera application, however, because I can see the SSID of the board pop up when searching for WiFi networks.

Hi Nikhil,

Please try by clearing browser cache and if you are using smartphone browser than disable data connection on that.

Hi Nikhil,

Below are some suggestion:

Cross verify whether AP assigning valid IP to client or not.
On smartphone disable data connection, if enabled.
Clear cache and cookies.
In chrome (On PC) goto developer tools ->select network tab and type mysimplelink.net and observed the network traffic/status to debug the issue.

Share sniffer and uniflash log if it's still not work.
