I have successfully implemented Wi-Fi using WL1835MOD cape of BBB using Debian by simply following steps given on wiki page http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/WL1835_Cape_on_BeagleBone_with_Debian .
There are two questions mainly:
1. Everytime for using wifi I have to use u SD card for booting. Is there any way I can directly boot from eMMC or any other way to boot without using u SD card? 2. How to assign wlan0 static IP for BBB?
If this topic is covered somewhere in the forum and I missed it, please let me know where this information is.
