Our custom board uses DM3730 processor with WG7311 chip (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and FM supported), Android 4.1.2, Kernel 2.6.37.

We want our board to be an A2DP Sink that we can play music from smartphone and streaming to our board via Bluetooth.

Can anyone give us any ideas for this? How can we do?

Hi Hao,

It would be best that you post it on some BlueZ forum as you would get better response there. AFAIK, BlueZ supports A2DP sink. You need to enable it in the audio.conf file.

Enable=Source,Control,Media,Socket

Why "Enable=Source" here. I'm going to use A2DP sink, so why not "Enable=Sink"?
Can you suggest me some BlueZ forum for this problem?

After a moment searching, i found this : Bluez can support A2DP sink. but Android framework doesn't enable this profile.
What can i do to enable it?

I know that I need to modify the android framework to implement A2DP Bluetooth profiles. But, at present, I don't know where I start? Can you give me some suggest?

At present, when I connect to my custom board from smartphone via Bluetooth, I've received these logcat:

I think that the a2dp connection between smartphone and my board has established. The problem is that I can't hear the audio from smartphone.

Moreover, Can you tell me how my board receive the audio from smartphone via bluetooth? I've searched on google and I didn't found the detail answer.

Hi,

I think you can post on some Android forums for better answer as this question does not relate to WiLink8 in any way...
Btw, the audio is received as ACL packets in SBC format. You might have to decode and play it by your own.
