Hello,

I am using CC3200 for an IoT based application. The CC3200 based device gets connected to a WPS enabled AP with push button method.

I want the device to get connected to the same AP automatically if either the AP or the device gets restarted. The user should not need to press the WPS switch again.

Looking forward for suggestions.

Use autoconnect policy , That will connect the device automatically to AP , if AP is stored in SFLASH

Hi Sammer,

As Raj stated, once a WPS connection is established a profile of that connection is stored in the SFlash.
In order to connect to this AP automatically in future restarts, you just need to set (once) the connection policy to Auto.
Please see chapter 5.3 & 8.4 in the programmers guide: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CC31xx_Programmers_Guide

Hello Alon,

Thanks for your response. I implemented your suggestion and put it in auto mode as mentioned below.

sl_WlanPolicySet(SL_POLICY_CONNECTION,SL_CONNECTION_POLICY(1,0,0,0,0),NULL,0);

I write the .bin file to the CC3200 using uniflash and first time I pressed the WPS switch in my router and it got connected to CC3200. But if I restart the CC3200 board and this time dont press the WPS switch in the router. It does not get connected to the router automatically?

Can you please check what could be the possible problem/error?
