I have currently started working on CC3200 RTC.

1. I want to know whether is it possible to get date and time stamp using CC3200 RTC? If yes, how to implement it?

2. Can CC3200 RTC retain data after power off?

3. Please let me know if there is any study material available for CC3200 RTC.

Mamata,

CC3200 does not have a true RTC capability. However, the timer framework of the CC3200-SDK (cc3200-sdk\middleware\framework\timer and cc3200-sdk\middleware\driver\hal\rtc_ha.*l) provides an effective mechanism to support RTC feature in the device. Please refer section 8.3 of ‘processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CC32xx_Power_Management_Framework’ for more details.

Hi, I have the same problem too, I check the CC3200 SDK sources, I found the RTC function was achieved in "prcm.h", I tried to access it by functions "PRCMRTCGet" and "PRCMRTCSet", the RTC worked.

Hi Praneet,

Sorry for late reply. I tried the PRCMRTCInUseSet(), PRCMRTCSet(), PRCMRTCGet() functions. My code is working fine. Thanks for your help.
