Hi Guys,

I cant seem to get the get weather example to work. I can connect to my wifi and it successfully gets the host IP but everytime I enter a city name and hit enter, it gives me

HTTP Status Code: 401

Server Get Weather failed

I have no idea whats wrong.

Is anyone else also experiencing this error ?

I suspect this is the issue.

Hi Dennis,

As mentioned in the above shared link accessing server now required a valid account and leading to this issue.
We will update this in next package.

Thanks, that was the issue, I got it to work now after I applied for an appID. You can close the thread now :)

Hi Dennis,

I have the same issue on my CC3200 and just register a free account and received an API key.

Would you please let me know how to applied the appID?

After code change as below, I got the "get weather" example runs correctly.
