Hi,

I am using WL1835MOD. How to limit the scanning to scan only 2.4 GHz networks?

Hi Johncy,

WL1835MOD is single band, so it will always give 2.4GHz networks...
For scanning specific channels, you can set the "freq" with "iw wlan0 scan". You can also disable 5GHz using the "NumberOfAssembledAnt5" wlconf option.

How to do this via wpa_cli utility? Also how to do this using dbus with wpa_supplicant?

I believe you can set "freq_list" in wpa_supplicant.conf file.
