Is the network generated under the C3200 p2p example supposed to show up under a standard Android Wifi scan?
I am using an Android LG Optimus Exceed 2 phone and when I go to Settings->WIFI and do a scan I cannot see the C3200 device. The CC3200 device also does not show up on the WIFI scan on my Android ASUS MemoPad tablet. Both of these devices are Android 4.2 or greater so they support WIFI direct.

Have you used a terminal window while running this SDK example? Are you seeing text output on this window--the text shown on the screen shot on our wiki page
