sl_Socket Error Code (-100)

Hi All,

I 'm getting (-100) in return to:

iSocketDesc = sl_Socket(AF_INET, SOCK_DGRAM, IPPROTO_UDP);

Since in the documentation there is no (-100) error, I was wondering if someone from TI know what does it mean.

Hi Yuval,

This Error Code can be found in the SDK (CC3200SDK--> simplelink--> include--> device.h) and corresponds to the following:

/* API has been aborted due to an error detected by host driver */
#define SL_API_ABORTED (-100)

Though, I recommend making sure you have the most up to date service pack.

Hi Austin,

What needs to be done in order to get out of this state. (i'm trying to connect in a state machine and once I've got this error every commend to the API will return (-100)).

Austin,

It is happening on my code only in the case I unplug the WAN cable from the router few times.
I solved it by sending sl_stop and sl_start when I get the socket event.
