Hi,

In the Serial Flash Guide http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC3100_%26_CC3200_Serial_Flash_Guide it's written that every file has a 440 byte header and this must be accounted when allocating file size, while in the FileSystem API http://software-dl.ti.com/ecs/cc31xx/APIs/public/cc32xx_simplelink/latest/html/group___file_system.html#ga1318606b831a75593f57fb234370dc78

What is the real file header size?

Hi Matteo,

The header size is 440 bytes as indicated in the SF Guide, where are you seeing a conflict?

In the sl_FsOpen() documentation: For optimal FS size, use max size in 4K-512 bytes steps (e.g. 3584,7680,117760)
I've created a 3656 file and it occupies two blocks, while a 3584 occupies only one, this is why I'm asking

Hi Matteo,

Your file is rounded up to the nearest page size multiple before the header is added.
