I have been running the "Sniffer with Filters" example from the CC3100SDK and have been trying to compare the packets sniffed through the code with the ones I see on the Wireshark interface.
Somehow, I see way more packets recieved by wireshark on the same channel and with the same filters at the same time. If CC3100 would recieve 2 Beacon frames in a second wireshark would show 6 or 7 of that same type.
Why is the CC3100 missing some of these packets? Is the processor relatively slow or could the issue be related to the code?
Hardware = CC3100BOOST + CC31XXEMUBOOST
I removed the 0.5 second delay in packet reception on the CC3100 already.
