Hi Everyone ,

We are using WL1835MOD combo module with our custom board running on i.MX6 solo.In our case WiFi is working fine but the Bluetooth is not working.

In the boot logs and even after kernel boots up we are getting the below messages continuously:

(stk) :ldisc installation timeout
(stk) :ldisc_install = 0(stk) : timed out waiting for ldisc to be un-installed
(stk) :ldisc_install = 1(stk) :ldisc installation timeout
(stk) :ldisc_install = 0(stk) : timed out waiting for ldisc to be un-installed
(stk) :ldisc_install = 1random: nonblocking pool is initialized
(stk) :ldisc installation timeout
(stk) :ldisc_install = 0(stk) : timed out waiting for ldisc to be un-installed
(stk) :ldisc_install = 1(stk) :ldisc installation timeout
(stk) :ldisc_install = 0(stk) : timed out waiting for ldisc to be un-installed

I am unable to understand why I am getting these messages continuously?

How can I avoid the above errors and get the BT working?

Kindly guide us regarding this issue.

Hi Shree,

From searching around the web about the st_register failed -22, I found the following.

bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi
e2e.ti.com/.../488811
e2e.ti.com/.../1484255

It appears to be either pin mux issue, missing bt_wilink driver in the kernel or missing 'uim' daemon.

In my case its not appearing everytime I boot the linux.

When I boot 2-3 times it appears one or two times.

Sometimes its working fine and sometimes it suddenly failing.

I cross-checked the pin-muxing, bt_wilink driver and uim daemon and all seems to be ok.

Hi Shree,

Since the kernel modules for BlueZ are included in the Linux, I recommend checking this on linux forums.

but I am not loading any modules . I am using whatever the drivers suggested on WiLink wiki as built-in drivers.

I suggest we take this one over email due to the fact it's not directly related to BlueTooth but more A Linux configuration issue.
